Harambee, [hair-um’-bay] in Swahili, literally means ‘all pull together’. Our goal is to do just that, hosting a fun and classy night out to benefit Come Unity’s clean water, education and sustainability programs in East Africa.
Harambee ’17 is a culmination and celebration of COME UNITY’s work in Africa over the last 10 years. Guests will enjoy a dance performance, enticing gallery exhibit and short documentary film that celebrates the impact we’ve had among our partners in East Africa. Harambee guests will also enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer, a high end silent auction and much more. All proceeds from Harambee will further our mission.
Harambee ’17 will be held at the Painted Bride Art Center in downtown Philadelphia. A beautiful and rare Philadelphia venue, the Painted Bride brings together artists, audiences and communities to push the boundaries of how we make and experience art. Join us!
